The magnetic sweeper is used to collect metal contaminants such as nails, iron filings, etc. from the premises. It consists of a handle and a bottom casing with an extraordinarily powerful rare earth permanent magnet.
Magnetic sweepers are used to collect magnetic metal debris such as nails, screws, sheet metal fragments, staples, rivets etc. and to easily remove the collected debris from the sweeper.
The hand-hold magnetic sweeper simply wipes the metal parts from the bottom casing into the collection box. Large magnetic sweepers are usually equipped with a sump under the chassis for temporary storage of metal waste; you can empty the metal waste in the sump into the collection box.
